Mobil Aero HF Series
Aviation Hydraulic Fluids
Mobil Aero HFA, HF, and HFS are formulated for aircraft systems where use of hydrocarbon-based hydraulic fluids is required. They are low viscosity products, high VI
(viscosity index) fluid with excellent low temperature properties, good anti-wear performance, and good chemical stability. Mobil Aero HFA and HF are composed of mineral base oil stock and contain shear-stable VI improvers; Mobil Aero HFS is a synthetic polyalphaolefin-based fluid. Aircraft-Type Gas Turbine Lubricant 55 Gallon Drum
Mobil Jet Oil 254 is a third-generation, extra high performance, synthetic aircraft-type gas turbine lubricant engineered to meet the performance requirements for gas turbine
engines used in commercial and military aircraft. This product is formulated from a specially prepared, hindered-ester base stock and fortified with a
unique chemical additive package. The result is a product having superior thermal and oxidation stability that resists deterioration and deposit formation while maintaining the physical characteristics required by builder and military specifications. The physical properties of Mobil Jet Oil 254 are similar to those currently available, earlier-generation gas turbine lubricants. The effective operating range of the lubricant is between -40°C (-40 °F) and 232°C (450°F).
Mobil Jet Oil II
Aircraft-Type Gas Turbine Lubricant Mobil Jet Oil II is a high performance aircraft-type gas turbine lubricant formulated with a combination of a highly stable synthetic base fluid and a unique chemical additive package. The combination provides outstanding thermal and oxidative stability to resist deterioration and deposit formation in both the liquid and vapour phases, as well as excellent resistance to foaming. The effective operating range of Mobil Jet Oil II is between -40ºC (-40 ºF) and 204 ºC (400ºF).
Synthetic Aviation Grease
Mobilgrease 28 is a supreme performance, wide-temperature, antiwear grease designed to combine the unique features of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid
with an organo-clay (non-soap) thickener. Its consistency is between an NLGI No. 1 and No. 2 grease. It offers outstanding performance over a wide temperature range. The wax-free nature of the synthetic base fluid, together with its low coefficient of traction compared with mineral oils, provide excellent low temperature pumpability, very low starting and running torque, and can reduce operating temperatures in the load zone of rolling element bearings.
X/C® Aviation Oil
Ashless Dispersant, Multigrade Engine Oil For Aircraft Piston EnginesPhillips 66 X/C Aviation Oil is an ashless dispersant, multigrade engine oil specially formulated for year-round use in aircraft piston engines. It provides distinct performance benefits compared with single-grade engine oils, including easier starting and faster oil circulation at low temperatures, reduced warm-up time, and reduced oil consumption in most engines. It maintains its film strength under high loads and at high temperatures to protect against wear and piston scuffing. The ashless dispersant formulation helps minimize the formation of engine sludge, varnish, piston deposits and combustion chamber deposits, resulting in a much cleaner engine compared with the use of straight (nondispersant) mineral oils. X/C Aviation Oil was the first FAA-approved mineral oil-based, ashless dispersant, multiviscosity aviation engine oil. It has more than 30 years of outstanding, proven performance in a wide variety of aviation uses, including flight schools, charter and cargo airlines, acrobatic aircraft, spray planes, race planes and virtually any other general aviation application. It is available throughout the United States and is exported to other countries around the world.
